Blyth Partnership Agreement

Blyth Town Council entered into another five year Partnership Agreement with Northumberland County Council that started on 1 April 2019. The aim of the Partnership is to work together to deliver enhanced environmental services in Blyth. We have a jointly funded team dedicated to Blyth and a logo was created for the Partnership so that the team would be instantly recognisable as working for the community of Blyth.

Blyth Town Council has committed £290,000 a year to the Partnership.

The work of the Partnership Team is monitored by Blyth Town Council officers who meet regularly with County Council colleagues to identify any issues and look at ways to improve the service. They report to the Partnership Working Group of Councillors, Town and County Council officers and meet every two months to discuss new projects and consider the overall performance of the Partnership.
