Blyth Town Council have introduced new Governance arrangements which took effect from May 10 2018. The Events Committee became part of the Community Development Committee, and any issues with Events are now dealt with by that Committee.
Blyth Town Council has Mel Jackson as a contractor who looks after our Events.
Blyth Town Council have the pleasure of arranging and promoting events for the enjoyment and benefit of residents and visitors. Helping to foster a community spirit, events such as Northumberland Live, the Summer Fair and Christmas Light Switch-On are a welcome addition to Blyth life. Fireworks - Every year Blyth Town Council host a local free fireworks event, click the link to see more information.
Northumbria in Bloom - Blyth participates in a gardening competition every year hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society to highlight the horticultural achievements throughout the Town. Northumberland Live - Blyth Town Council host a local free music festival every year at Blyth beach, where thousands attend to see a fantastic headline act and a selection of local talented musicians, click the link for more info.

Blyth Carnival - In 2017 Blyth held the first carnival, and following the success of the 2018 event we hope it will continue.
