Details
Each Saturday in December there will be activities for children and families to take part in including visiting Santa in his Grotto in the Keel Row Shopping centre.
From 11am to 3pm on Saturday 2, 9 and 16 December there will be lots of fun activities to join in with and even learn new skills
Each week Santa will be in his grotto for children to visit, we will have face painting, characters, selfie booths and our very special wishing tree.
There will be plenty of photo opportunities with the tree in the Keel Row shopping centre and our cheeky elves!
Each Saturday the Library will be hosting craft sessions and storytelling, an ideal time to check out some new books for the Christmas holidays. Please note the library opening times are 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the crafts will be 10-12pm
There will also be craft stalls in the Keel Row shopping centre so you can finish (or start) your shopping!
The Project space (11-3) will be hosting activities and workshops with the Dialogue society and the CVA will be hosting the fabulous exhibition from the Crofton Mill Pit Exhibition (11-3)
Saturday 2 December
We will be joined by Blyth Valley Samba and Kewen Music School who are running a fabulous music workshop where children can have a go with musical instruments and be shown by tutors how to play. There will also be some demonstrations from the groups.
Saturday 9 December
We will have a workshop for children to create their own Christmas decorations with oasis and fresh foliage to take home.
We will be joined by Blyth Valley Samba for more workshops and demos.
There will also be the St Mary’s Church Town Nativity 4.30 pm

Saturday 16 December
Sees the return of everyone’s favourite Circus’s School!
Come along and home in on those skills from the summer and walk that tight wire!
We will be joined by Blyth Valley Samba again for more workshops and demos!
These are set to be great fun days out in Blyth, so why not plan your day and get some breakfast or lunch at the same time and finish of your Christmas shopping!
