Leading Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Plus (LGBT+) charity Northumberland Pride are delighted to announce the launch of the Northumberland Pride Festival 2022 – Sponsored by Jaccountancy which will take place at Meggie’s Burn, Blyth

Northumberland Pride are thrilled to deliver it’s forth festival and celebrate half a decade of its work, with a brand new format and extension across 3 days. It will see the return of the popular pride march, which will leave from Ridley Park heading along the picturesque Blyth promenade to the Pride site on Saturday 27th August 2022.

The collaboration between Northumberland Pride and Jaccountancy will allow the organisation to deliver a pride that represents the diversity of the community and restore visibility for LGBT+ people in the county.

The festival will end on Sunday 28th August 2022 with a family fun day from 1pm, culminating in a candle lit vigil to remember lives lost due to HIV/Aids and fight against the stigma that still exists around the disease
