Chestnut Avenue play area was officially opened by Mayor Warren Taylor this week. This is the latest play area to be added to the Town Council's portfolio of facilities for young people in Blyth.

Mayor Taylor was joined by Michaela Brosnan and representatives of the Chestnut Avenue Forget-Me-Not Residents Association! along with Councillors John Potts, Kath Nisbet, Margaret Richardson, and Sandra Stanger.

Dozens of children turned up to see Blyth's latest play area taking advantage of the facilities the moment the gate was opened.
