In 2022 four rainbow seats were installed in the centre of Blyth with the intention of relocating these to the new/renovated children's parks upon their completion. As the Chestnut Avenue play area is now open, the first of these seats will be moved to its final location in the coming days.

Following this, two seats will be relocated to the North Farm play area, replacing the two current steel seats, which are being returned to stock and installed in other locations as required.

The remaining seat will be installed within the new play area at Kitty Brewster upon its completion in September 2023.
